I’m grateful to those who followed me on this journey in review—55 posts—that I began in mid April.
A huge lesson for me is coming out on the other side of the journey grateful, with a full heart. Mom is smiling because the analogies that come to mind are athletic, that high after a hard workout or a game well played. It was hard, but I’m glad I showed up for it.
I hope you found takeaways for yourself, lessons in dying and living, and encouragement to show up with an open heart.
This word cloud of the titles from the Journey in Review is an oddly comforting visual. I see the twists and bends of the journey’s trajectory, the confluence of the emotions and thoughts.

Your review a year later seems like a real healing journey. Thanks for the example of how to look back and learn.
Thank you, Joy.
It has been an honour to walk with you for these learning steps. Thank you, Pennie!
Thank you, Diane!
I haven’t done a word cloud in many years and yours came up with interesting results. She’s changed….what’s left? have I failed? am I next? are the phrases that jumped out at me, along with “Letting Go”. Because I work with someone who is on the caretaking journey now, the posts of yours I read had a special additional meaning. Her mother lives with her and she works from home. You and she have so much in common even though your experiences and circumstances are so different. You both were/are blazing a path that too many of us will tread one day. Alana ramblinwitham
